TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

These terms govern use of gallery-dl.wiki, its browser-based command tools, and its educational documentation. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

The service we provide

gallery-dl.wiki provides independent download links to verified upstream release files, configuration examples, installation instructions, site-support summaries, and troubleshooting suggestions. We do not repackage gallery-dl, operate supported platforms, download media on your behalf, provide accounts, bypass access controls, or store your downloaded files.

The upstream gallery-dl project and supported websites can change without notice. Our examples may be incomplete, outdated, incompatible with your shell, or unsuitable for a particular extractor. You must review and test all output before running it.

Authorized and lawful use only

You may use the site only for lawful purposes and only to access or download content you are authorized to view and copy. You are responsible for copyright, licenses, contracts, privacy, publicity rights, platform terms, account rules, rate limits, and laws that apply to your location and intended use.

You must not use the site or generated output to bypass paywalls, authentication, access controls, technical restrictions, regional controls, account permissions, or rate limits; obtain another person's private data; distribute non-consensual or unlawful content; overload services; introduce malware; or interfere with this site or third-party systems.

Generated commands and local execution

Generated commands are drafts, not professional advice or guaranteed instructions. Before execution, verify the URL, options, browser profile, local paths, filename rules, filters, archive database, free disk space, shell quoting, permissions, and expected request volume. Start with simulation and a small range when behavior is unfamiliar.

Commands run on your device under your operating-system account. You accept responsibility for network requests, downloads, overwritten or renamed files, archive records, storage use, account effects, and any other result. Keep credentials and cookies secret and never enter raw authentication values into this site.

Intellectual property and trademarks

The site design, original copy, and browser-tool code are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use generated command text for your own lawful workflow. You may not copy the site as a competing service, remove notices, misuse branding, or imply sponsorship without permission.

gallery-dl and the names and marks of supported websites belong to their respective owners. They are referenced for compatibility, commentary, and educational identification. gallery-dl.wiki is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by gallery-dl, its maintainer, or supported platforms.

Third-party sites, software, and advertising

The site links to third-party documentation, source code, package repositories, platforms, and privacy controls. We do not control their availability, security, accuracy, content, licensing, or practices. Your installation and use of gallery-dl and third-party software are governed by their licenses and terms.

Advertising and analytics may be supplied by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. A link or advertisement does not constitute our endorsement. Review third-party information and software before relying on it.

No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, or compatibility. We do not warrant that a site is supported, a command will succeed, output will be complete, or an account or platform will permit the request.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, gallery-dl.wiki and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, media, revenue, reputation, accounts, access, or opportunity arising from the site, generated output, third-party software, or third-party platforms. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the site service during the preceding twelve months, which is normally zero.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any page or feature, and may block abusive traffic. We may update these terms as the site or legal requirements change. The updated date appears above; continued use after publication means the revised terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the site.
